Short Description

The Serra da Gardunha tunnel system, part of the Beira Interior (A23) Motorway Concession, led COBA, between 1992 and 2003, to develop the Preliminary Studies, Final Design as well as the Technical Assistance to the Supervision of the works of the aforementioned infrastructures, which were fundamental for the conclusion and efficiency of the Main Itinerary number 2, alternative for the international traffic coming from Vilar Formoso.

The geological conditions in which both tunnels are set correspond to granites in the areas of the portals and metamorphic rocks in the intermediate areas.

Short Description

The Upgrade of the Al Salam Street-Eastern Corniche Road aimed at transforming it into an expressway with a length of 3.11 km.

COBA was responsible for the coordination of this project, as well as the design of the retaining structures.
