Fernando Prioste
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Graduate in Agronomy from the ISA – Instituto Superior de Agronomia (School of Agronomy – University of Lisbon). XXXV PADE Advanced Management Program, AESE Business School, Lisbon. Post-graduate degree in Renewable Energies from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Portuguese Catholic University). Post-graduate degree in Strategic Management of Human Resources (INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education, Lisbon).

Mr. Prioste has been performing managerial and administrative positions for more than ten years, and is at present the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of COBA Holdings, S.A, COBA - Consultores de Engenharia e Ambiente, S.A. and COBANGOLA. From 2005 to 2015, he has carried out Management functions in several companies forming the COBA Group.

Key Qualifications

Member of COBA’s permanent technical staff since 1992, Mr. Prioste was Project Manager with the Agronomy Division and Project Coordinator with the Cartography and Cadastre Division. He has founded Landcoba, a company which is part of the COBA Group, specialised in cartography and geographical information systems. He also took part in the creation of Landpro Ltda., Landcoba’s counterpart company with head offices in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Between 2014 and 2015, he was also Manager of Consulstrada, also part of the COBA Group, specialised in pavement management and maintenance. Since 2017, he has also taken on the post of Member of the Board of Directors of PPA - Parceria Portuguesa para a Água (Portuguese Water Partnership).

As Chief Executive Officer of COBA Holdings, he is responsible for the liaison and the relations with all the Group’s companies, with a view to standardise COBA’s culture and to improve the existing synergies within the Group. He is also responsible for the Human Resources Direction and for the markets in Africa and Latin America, as well as for the development of new business opporunities.
