Distinctive Angolan politician and businessman, Mr. Lopo do Nascimento has performed political functions in Angola as Prime Minister, Minister of Domestic Trade, Deputy Executive Secretary with the UN’s Economic Commission for Africa, Minister of Foreign Trade, Minister of Territorial Administration, General Secretary of the political party MPLA -Movimento Popular de Libertação de Angola (People’s Movement for the Libaration of Angola), Governor of the Huíla Province and President of the Regional Military Council for the 5th Military Region of Angola.

As a businessman, he is currently the Vice-President of the international development consultancy company “CESO Portugal”, Member of the Board of Directors of the Angolan glass production company “Vidrul – Vidreira de Angola”, Chairman of the Shareholders’ General Meeting Board of the Angolan brewing company “Sociedade Cervejeira de Angola”, Chairman of the Siscount City Group (Namibia) and Chairman of COBA Holdings S.A.(Portugal).
