This project entails the rehabilitation of the road and the introduction of a BRT line, and so its whole area was subject to a high quality topographic survey.

The collection of topographical data was carried out by state-of-the-art laser scanner technology, which allowed gathering information without closing the road (either partially or totally).

This equipment is installed on a car and allows the collection of topographical data in motion and does not require any exterior lighting.

Besides the production of the Digital Terrain Model and the planialtimetric mapping at scale 1:500, this methodology allowed gathering photographic records of the concerned area.
