Short Description
The study covers the geographical area of Greater Luanda up to the Bengo River, to the North, and the Kwanza River, to the South. The estimated population is about 5.8 million inhabitants, expected to reach 13 million people in the horizon of 2025.
The study incorporated the new interventions planned for the city, up to the horizon year of 2025, attempting to combine these interventions with other ones, also of an infrastructural nature, such as water supply and road networks.

Water Supply to the Mostaganem-Arzew-Oran Corridor | Algeria

Short Description
The conveyance system aims at the water supply to a population of about 2,500,000 inhabitants.
It encompasses the following infrastructures:
- Conveyance pipeline between the Sidi Lahdjel water treatment plant and the Oran reservoir, involving approximately 88.5 km of pipelines with diameters between 1,800 mm and 2,200 mm;
- Pumping station, with 4 +1 groups with a total capacity of 3.6 MW and flow of 4. 0 m³
- The buried reservoir of Mostaganem;
- The Oran buried Reservoirs (2).

Greater Maputo Water Supply System | Mozambique

Short Description
The studies carried out aimed at addressing the growth of the water needs in Greater Maputo and comprised the following infrastructures:
- Conveyance pipeline with a length of approximately 94 km and a maximum flow of 1.4 m³/s;
- Two Pumping stations;
- Water Treatment Plant (WTP), located at 11 km from the
Corumana dam, designed for a flow of 60,000 m³/day;
- Treated water reservoir;
- Control tank (CTA);
- Remote Control System (CTMS)
Studies undertaken in association with Consultec, under the
leadership of COBA.

Water Supply to Ondjiva | Angola

Short Description
The Water Supply to Ondjiva is part of the studies for the elaboration of the Water Supply and Sanitation Master Plans of the cities of Malanje (584,000 inhabitants), Kuito (140,000 inhabitants), Ondjiva (283,000 inhabitants), Huambo (874,000 inhabitants) and N'Dalatando (205,000 inhabitants) and associated engineering preliminary designs.
The cities possess an ancient and rudimentary water supply and an incipient sanitation network in which only Huambo was partly covered by a sewage network (without treatment).
Studies undertaken in association with Consulprojecto, under the leadership of COBA.
