Rehabilitation of the Nacional Road EN260 - Caala-Ganda section | Angola

Short Description
The section under study is located between the Huambo and Benguela Provinces, beginning in Caála, going through Calenga, Lepe, Longojo, Ucuma, Tchindjenje, Babaera, Alto Catumbela and finishing in Ganda.
The rehabilitation included the adjustment, widening and reshaping of the existing platform, thus improving the movement and safety conditions in this important connection between Benguela and Huambo.
Where possible, the road alignment kept the characteristics of the existing cross-section (1x2). In most cases, it was improved, as well as the whole drainage system, which was nearly insufficient/inexistent.
